CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
At Staivo, we recognize that travel plans may evolve—and that booking accommodations without an in-person visit requires trust. Our cancellation and refund policy is designed to provide flexibility, uphold fairness, and offer added protection for remote, domestic, and international guests.
🗓️ Cancellation Timing & Refunds
- Advance Cancellations: Bookings cancelled up to 14 days before check-in are eligible for a full refund of the deposit.
- Late Cancellations: Cancellations within 7 days of check-in incur a charge equal to 50% of the expected revenue for the remainder of the stay. The security deposit (bond) remains fully refundable.
💰 Security Deposit (Bond)
- Standard bond: one month’s rent regardless of booking length.
- Returning guests with a history of respectful stays may receive reduced or waived bond at Staivo’s discretion.
- Bond refunded within 24 hours of check-out, after property inspection.
- Deductions only apply for non-compliance or damages.
📩 Cancellation Procedure
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to Staivo Support using the contact provided in your booking form. Refunds are normally processed within 5–7 business days depending on payment method.
⚠️ Notes & Exceptions
- Applies to all domestic, remote, and international bookings.
- Site Unseen Protection: If the property differs materially from its listing, guests may stay up to 7 days while an alternative is arranged. If declined, a full refund including the bond will be issued.
- Staivo may waive cancellation fees in exceptional circumstances such as emergencies or travel disruptions, subject to proof.
